If a Honda= rice burner, then what is a Ducati?

I'm still kinda a noob to the Monster movement but I've noticed there is quite a demand for parts and accessories from a company called Roadracing.  I've done some research on the stuff that they made and for the few things I had found, I was very impressed.  Does anyone know something about these guys?  Where they went?  Where they were located?  I know they are out of business but their molds and jigs have to live on somewhere.
