It is yearly bike trip again with my brother, this year the plan is Toronto, to Chicago for a cubbies game on the 14th then catch the white sox @ detroit game on the 16th.  We'll be in Chicago for 2 nights any suggestions on a place to grab some good food/beer.  We are walking distance (about 3 miles) from Wrigley, but a quick drive isn't out of the question.

These trips are all about the beer, and putting some miles on the bikes the games are the excuse, besides it's a bit hard to get the golf clubs on the back of the bikes but one of these years we are going to manage to rope in some non bikers to act as the chase car to carry the clubs.

So food (I hear that is plentiful in Chicago so I'm sure I can stumble across that no problem but beer always seems to be a bit tricker to find, craft brewed or micro brewed would be a good start.

Cheers

I was born in Chicago but it has been many decades since I've been there so I can't help you on beer of food.  But I do have fond memories from my youth of the best pizza in the world.  I  applause applause your choice of games.  I'm a rare creature in that I'm both a Cubs and a Sox fan.  This year it is hard to watch the Cubs but every true baseball fan should see Wrigley, the most historic and beautiful park in baseball.
