Spark plugs, normal?

Hi everyone, I'm not very good at reading spark plugs and what they tell about the condition of the bike (S2R800).  Below is a photo of my plugs with the left being the plug for the horizontal cylinder and the right being the plug for the vertical cylinder.  The bike has about 2500 miles.  Boom tube exhausts with baffles were installed about 800 or so miles ago.  How are my plugs doing?

Also, it appears there's oil on the plug threads, with the horizontal having more than vertical.  Is this something to be concerned about?  I remember hearing something about these bikes having issues with valve seals/guides?  I don't have any starting issues nor have I recognized any hesitations or popping on deceleration.  The only issue that my not-so-mechanically-inclined-self can see is that the idle is not perfect.  That is, it may go up and down 50RPMs when idling.  I believe the bike was barely used by the previous owner as it had less than 2k miles when I got it (2007 bike).  I haven't had a chance to run the bike hard and have probably only gotten the RPMs as high as 7.5k RPMs.  The bike is used for commuting and is typically run around 4k RPMs.

Those plugs look fine.

A little oil on the threads is nothing to worry about.

Thanks Nick.  Any idea what could be causing this?  Any recommendations to help cure it (e.g. run the bike harder)?  I'll try to monitor it before I bring her up to you for the 7.5k service.
