Okay so I must tell my tale of embarrassment if I want to get any help with the hole I have dug for myself.
About 9 months ago I figured I needed to do the 18K service on my Monster myself to save some money. So I got started, changed my belts, plugs, oil, filter, then got started on the valves. I got my measurements, ordered my shims, stuck the new shims in, DID NOT MEASURE before putting the bike together again, and it wouldn't start, just a 'click' and turning the wheel by hand while in gear was really difficult.
I push started the bike, it took several times, but I got it to start and it sounded like crap. It had a really loud tick-tick-tick. I pulled it apart and found that my shim for the top from opener was not in there!!! Did I drop it? I don't know, I don't even know if it can slid back and end up falling in the cylinder.
I got all the shims to acceptable (measured) allowances, and out the bike back together and now I still can't get it to start. All I get is a 'click' again, I can't seem to push start it either, now I live on a gravel driveway and so can't get enough purchase to push the rear wheel around, BUT I do get it to turn over when I try to push start it.
Just to cover my bases I also am not really getting much of a disconnect of the transmission when I pull in the clutch, basically it feels as if I am doing nothing with the clutch lever, even though the pull in my hand still feels fine, so I am sure I need to bleed that with all new fluid, which I will be doing next while waiting for your desperately needed help. I also am getting NOTHING from my rear brake, which I will bleed, but I do not think that is related.
My keys seem to work just fine, no problems there, they still register, I do not hink it is the kickstand sensor, no changes whether it is up or down, and combineed with in gear or not, but please still make suggestions if you know how to check on that.

In need of serious help here,

The no start could be a flat battery or bad connection, that should be easy enough to figure out.

The clutch could need bleeding, or maybe it's just the plates stuck together from sitting, again easy enough.

Just to be safe, recheck your valve timing, remove the spark plugs and turn the engine over by hand.  Then follow Dan's advice.

Okay, so far the battery is fine, the timing is spot on (all 3 tick marks line up), it turns over by hand with the spark plugs out just fine. I have not bled the clutch yet, things came up. So how do you unstick clutch plates that are stuck together, can it be done without draining the oil again (wet clutch here)?

I'd fix the electrical issue and put some fresh fuel in it

Does the bike crank?

Nope, just a click, and a dimming of the lights like it is trying to start, but no turning over.

Charge the battery and get it load tested.  You can also jump it with a known good battery.  Your car (engine off) will be fine.
