torque values... 796...

didn't break it, but if it's supposed to be 60nm greased, the calculatron tell me that's ~44 lb

I set the wrench at 60 lb. it wasn't re-greased or anything, but I hadn't cleaned it off since removal.  I had no idea there were seperate values for dry vs. lubed

that I torqued it to 60 lb-ft, not 60 NM

It didn't break...

take it apart and re-grease it and re-torque it.

You didn't exceed industry standard for that size fastener.
