slipper clutch service interval

the new rs i picked up had a slipper clutch in it that now has about 2k miles on it.  i was told at some point that they need to be serviced (lubed, etc) every 1500 miles . . . is this accurate?

I'd contact whomever deals with your brand of slipper and ask about maintenance intervals.

Yes..they need maintenance...don't know the interval.
