changed bars now bike wont start.

so it's the calssic bike wont start problem i hate to ask but it just has me confounded.
I dropped bike a 1997 M900 on some loose gravel left on the road after the council did some work on the foot path. As a result i bent the bars, broke my clutch lever and dinted my tank. I have replaced broken items and now the bike wont start turns over happily. I have check the spark plugs and the fuel and all seems to be fine. The bike was running when I got it home.
Is there something I could have damaged when changing the bars over which would cause it not to start?
Thanks

Did you check your kill switch and wiring?

Does the fuel pump prime when you first turn the ignition?
Did you replace the tank? Maybe have the fuel lines reversed.
Do you have spark? Pull a plug and see if you have spark, if no spark check the kill switch wiring.

His bike is carbed.
No electric pump and only one fuel line.
My bet is electrical.

Carbon 14 has it summed up, which is why I didn't reply. Gotta say I'm not into sniffing exhaust pipes though.

Yup completely missed that it's a 97 agree most likely it's electrical.

Thanks for the tips but still not having any lucky.
Replaced the spark plugs and checked that they are sparking and it's getting fuel and turning over fine.
could there be a problem with the choke or the carbies? Too much fuel or too much air?

Doesn't sound like electrical. If the bike is turning over, then the starter is working, thus the switch is working. Have you tried opening the throttle while turning it over? Force it to flood.

could the throttle cable be bound up? maybe you flooded it on accident while you were messing around reinstalling your throttle?

Could be that the enrichment plungers...choke...are not working correctly
