wondering if anyone has done this?

i have access to an automotive tire machine, i dont forsee any issues with doing this, but i want some input

i understand doing the front tire you need special adaptors to raise the wheel up so it doesnt interfere with the rotors, but the rear has really no such issue

Call me crazy but I don't even balance mine anymore bought a Marc Parnes balancer and everything. I was all super meticulous about it but one day I couldn't wait to ride and couldn't tell the difference so no more balancing for me (don't track the Monster). Sorry I couldn't answer your question but if you intend on removing your rotors heat then remove rotor bolts or you could possibly just do one side and leave the other on.

well seeing as the rear wheel on an SSSA has the rotor attached to the axel and not the wheel, changing a tire on a regular automotive tire machine was cake, so long as the machine can clamp the wheel from the outside

balancing cannot be done with a regular automotive machine BTW just have to make sure you dont scratch the wheel, the front on the other hand, i wouldnt want to change that without the proper clamps

I've always used an automotive tire changing machine to change tires, even at MMI they were just regular out side griping clamps, I don't think it will be a problem, as for balancing I never balance motorcycle tires either.

shouldnt be a problem. just be careful not to scratch your rim and your fine.
