I picked this up about 4-5 weeks ago and finally got it back together and brought it up to Kenny at MRP today to set the suspension up for me today. I changed all the fluids, painted the frame, subframe, swingarm, new bearings in the wheels and greased the triples and swingarm bearings.

I got the bike for a great price and it should be cheaper than running the Aprilia and availability of parts is cheaper and more readily available.  Finding parts for the Dorsoduro, which is not a popular bike has been difficult, expensive and lengthy in wait time.

I am keeping the Dorsoduro and the S4R, but the Monster may be up for sale if I really like the 1199 Panigale.  Hell I really don't have to sell it but with 4 bikes already a 5th seems ri-donkulous.

2003 Kawasaki ZX-6R.
Morse Racing fairings, dzus fasteners, Race Tech front forks, 2005 Showa rear shock, BT-003 tires, HH pads, Vortex rearsets, Hyperpro steering damper, full Leo Vince exhaust, PC3 with dyno sheet of 107 hp at the tire, new barnett clutches, renthal sprockets, Goodridge SS brake lines, PP sliders, some off brand gas tank cap, and race air filter.  I have some new levers on the way and debating about going from the 280mm front rotors to larger zx-10 rotors with newer r6 front monobloc calipers and master cylinder.  These brakes suck.

[thumbsup] Stunters Doceant! Jap bikes are great if you don't want to worry about dropping/laying down the bike. Plus this one looks well setup.
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me--and there was no one left to speak for me.

2007 Yamaha YZF-R6.  had a stunters cage on it...was an abondoned bike. I went through the DMV process when I found it, it had 2 flats, rusted chain..had been in the same spot behind a building for over 1 yr.  I am still gathering ignition parts and keys to find the mileage and if it even runs.  It was a nightmare trying to find the owner..lots of certified copies, USPS reciepts and about 200.00 in random fees.  It all is a gamble through the process too.  Picking up the bike was a whole other story...cops, arguments, but in the end I had the title in my name and in my hand.

so is the Kwak a 6R or a 6RR?

636 ,,,6R  Easy way to tell is by the frames on the 03-04's.  The 636 (6R) has a perfect circle for the rear swingarm, the 600 (6RR) has an oblong hole that extends further up/down.
