Ducati 996 balancer shaft??????

had an argument with a ducati dealer yesterday who said that he was woeking on a 996 with a broken balancer shaft !!!!!!!   I told him they dont have balacer shaft he must mean the transfer shaft for the timing gears .......

996 does not have a balancer shaft.

He is an idiot then ...........I have stripped S4 and 916 engines and a testastretta and never seen a Balancer shaft and I dont think even the new Panigale has one .

Well, if you really squint hard, you can say the crankshaft is a balancer shaft. 

But it's not really an accepted definition...
