No thanks. I'd rather spend my time here on DMF looking for mod ideas and drinking my cold beers. 8)

I won't be home when it's on or near a tv but I'll look forward to hearing/reading about it for my own reasons.

Might not get much, if any more, feedback since anything political here goes south pretty quickly.
We've learned the hard way.     ;D

Just a heads up.  (Might even be something in the FAQ's & Policies board about it.)

I watched it. Nothing terribly exciting. If you skipped it to finish your Lifetime Original Movie, you probably broke even.

why do we need them to tell us what the state of the union is......i thought it was kind of obvious.
If you drive the nicest car in the neighborhood, work in a cash business, and don't pay taxes, you're either a preacher or a drug dealer...

Yeah, yeah.

The political rhetoric was fun, but I had more fun people-watching.

The sour look on McCain's face?

The neck tattoo on the lady from South Carolina?

And holy crap, John Kerry looked like shit!  :o

Rep Giffords looked great!

knowing that the rhetoric is mostly blow hard posturing and that little success will come of it, I thought it was a well delivered speech and the message of bipartisanship for the sake of the nation was a good one....
