Is Ignitor (CDI) repair possible?

I believe on of my DP 1.1 ignitors is on the way to electronics heaven. The good ignitor is connected to the tach sideso when I switch ignitors, the tach works intermittently. Plus my bike is firing on one cylinder more often so this has motivated me to explore my options. I know there are the programmable units like Ignitech and replacement CDI's but I was thinking if it's possible and more importantly feasible to fix a non-working ignitor. Has anyone attempted to fix one and if so, what were the results? I've ordered a replacement so as soon as that it arrives, it'll be time to do some reverse engineering. ;D If someone has the schematic for a Ducati CDI, I'd be really interested in it. I don't know if a solution would come out of this project, but it could be fun along the way.

Cheers
Don't argue with idiots. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Noop !! unrepairable ...sadly  :'(   Last year I add one that didn't function properly so I had to get another one  [roll]

Out of curiosity I've tried to open the "box" but it's not a box.   It's like the hole circuit board was dropped into rubber ( like chocolate ... ;D  [drool] ). after 2 hour of picking at the rubber the rubber i saw that is directly "glued" to the circuit board. So whitout damaging the circuit it's a fairly difficult task.
