As many of you know, on April 4, 2012, Paul Lima suffered a tragic accident while enjoying his passion. Paul had terrible crash on a motocross track and fractured bones in his lower back, and as a result of the accident, he is now paralyzed in both legs.

Paul recovered remarkably well from a 9-hour surgery to realign and stabilize his back, and he is now undergoing therapy and training at a rehabilitation center to get adjusted to his new life. While everyone prays for a full recovery, the prognosis is unfortunately not very promising. The doctors have given their normal, safe, low-percentage probability of gaining any meaningful sensation in his legs, but for those of you who know Paul, that small percentage is all he needs.

Through positive thoughts, prayers from around the world, and sheer determination, Paul and his family will make the best of their new situation.
Paul has a passion for vintage bikes, so what better way to show him support then to come out to this night!!!

San Diego BMW, Fun Bike Center, Moto Forza and House Of Motorcycles are all coming together to show support for GP Motorcycles and Paul's recovery.

Nice work, Brian!  Actually a different event than the OP but all for the same cause.  Brian, of Socal Supermoto, runs a school out of Adams Kart Track and last weekend put together this benefit/trackday where all proceeds (including his school) went towards the fund.  Awesome turnout with a few big names and even bigger smiles.  BBQ, raffles, auctions, motards, and sunshine.  Here's how the day ended...

Video Note: Second leg of the Racer/Newbie fun race held during the Paul Lima Benefit Day at Adams. Knowing next to nothing about supermoto (while enrolled in socal supermoto school and using their equipment), I innocently asked Micky Dymond to be my teamate with the promise of cold beer at the finish. He accepted. My only job now is to not crash; of course I accidentally hit the kill switch in the first corner... Check out around the 5-minute mark during the exchange where Gary Trachy kindly helps Micky with his clutch lever.... Apologies for not knowing how to edit.
