I'm not surprised it outsold the Monster.
Yeah, the 1200's "four mode" operation is pretty tempting. Performance mode gives you quite a bang for your buck and you still have basically an upright comfortable bike to ride.
The SF and Monster are really the same market and should be considered the same bike for market share purposes. It wouldn't surprise me if the Monster is whittled down to one or two models or just as an entry model. Who knows?
