Necessity of 7500 miles service?

My bike's got 7600 miles on it and is out of warranty. It just came out of a great suspension shop. I've changed belts and fluids. New tires and brake pads. I'll be checking valve clearances in the next few weeks.

It's my understanding that the stock ECU is only adjustable for sync (via the air bleeders) and low rpm mixture. I have installed a FatDuck O2 manipulator.

So if the valve clearances check OK and the bike is running well and in great condition overall, do I really need to spend big bucks for the 7500 mile service?

I mean, what's left to check/service?

Checked the valves....check.
Changed the oil and filter....check.
Check the air filter, and clean it or replace it if necessary.....check.
Check belt tension and replace if more than 2 years old.....check.
Check throttle body synchronization and idle speed.....check.
Lube all the cables (throttle and cold start if you have one)....check.
Check the chain and sprockets for wear, alignment, and tension....check.
Check all the other obvious stuff like tire and brake condition, fluids.  Torque the engine mount bolts, axle, side stand bolts, and front sprocket retaining bolts.  Check the clutch pack condition, look for fork and/or shock absorber fluid leaks, charge the battery, examine the fuel hoses for leaks or cracks, and see that all the bulbs (turn signals, headlight, tail light, and license plate light) are functional......check.

If you don't have a way to check for computer codes, reset the TPS, and reset the maintenance light, you might take the bike to a dealer or service technician to take care of ONLY that stuff, and it shouldn't take more than 30 minutes
That's all that happens at a 7500 mile service, anyway.  Record what you've done and be happy.  There's a list of all the things required at each service interval in the factory service manual, should you care to acquire one.
