Hi  ... some technical issues here .... :)

I just bought a pair of heated gloves

http://www.powerlet.com/product/rapidfire-heated-glove-liner-kit/542

They hook up directly to the battery.  and it Say's the pair take 23 watts

Will it be to much considering that the alternator putts out 350 watts for the hole bike ???

I have a 1995 900 monster... battery is the YB16Al-A2

Do some of you guy gloves like that ??

Howie

Just keep the revs up and you will be fine.

I have a very similar system and recommend windproof, but thin, gloves (probably full leather) - a size larger than usual.

My system is warmer with high engine revs - nothing to worry about.

No battery problems, just remember to unplug or turn them off when you stop the bike.
252,000 km/seventeen years - loving it

Remember to start the engine with the gloves off.  It saves the current for the starter.

Going this direction myself so as to not overtax the system...
