Hate to break it to you, but you'll experience the same issues with the KTM, as their tanks are also made my Acerbis.
Really? I had heard of this on some old models(2007) but have not seen this on the new models. Did this happen you're super duke?

Sure did.  Tank has swollen to the point where it is almost impossible to re-attach if I remove it all the way.  I've got some of Motohooligan's brackets sitting around somewhere, but haven't gotten around to putting them on.

And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw that—it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

Audi ownership isn't going to have any impact on bikes for at least a year or so... maybe longer.

http://superbikeplanet.com/2012/Apr/120417a17.htm

Reuters is reporting that VW/Audi has purchased Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati for $1.12 billion.

Thus far financial analysts have not taken a shine to the deal, suggesting that this is a just a "trophy" buy for VW to add to its list of brands that it owns.

That pic is just hilarious!!

All of the companies that VW owns are independently operated. Lamborghini has stayed much the same since they bought that. Don't really think there are going to be any drastic changes..
