ok, so i'm either being paranoid, or both masters seem to be leaking around the lid. fluid levels looked ok, and it had been a bit rainy on the last few commutes in the morning... possibly just water getting in through those little vent holes on the lid?

I don't remember this ever happening to the monster...

Very common to get a little seeping around the lid. Doesn't take more than a small drop to look like more. Spray some water on and wipe it away. Don't worry unless you're suddenly missing a lot of fluid.

You could have the lids off and wip down the surfaces to ensure there's no crud that might be promoting the seepage.

Mine would ooze a little every time I removed them.

Turned out to be fluid on the gasket and would stop after a while.

Those coffin masters leak so easily near the cap.
The leaking seems to get worse when the bike gets leaned over enough so that the fluid inside the master is at the level of the cap (tip over/crash/park on hill with handlebars locked to the side).
The only way I ever got them to leak less was to make sure that rubber diaphram is seated well and the mating surfaces of the cap and coffin are super clean.  If it still leaked, I tried again, after a couple cleanings it would usually seal up better.
I never can get it to not still weep/leak just a tad.

seemed ok. I pretty much torqued down as much as I felt comfortable... maybe the mirror killing buzz backs screws out as well.
