Need to raise handlebar height about .5"

I want to try these 4 way adjustable clubman bars.
My problem is my fork preload extend about .5" into the proposed
Clubman bottom bar. Stock bars bend up to avoid hitting just before preloads.
My question is the another option to getting the 1.3" risers?

Get some longer bolts and shim under your existing risers.
