Love to modify my bike, anyone got any ideas around it?
Tinted backlight, matte black headlight, chopped tail.
Future plans: black frame, motor and body. Red rims.
Yeah i know, broken clutch hub

Don't touch that frame - it's more than fine
Black body and red wheels
Black anodized or vinyl wrapped fork legs?
Maybe regular riser clip ons...
When bored, polish the exhaust pipes?

that bike is good looking as it sits right now...
I wouldn't change the frame or the wheel (red wheels are nice or black too)

I like that seat and carbon cover on the radiator, and nice paint (is it charcoal?).
Well i did chop my tail, had that as first prio when i bought it. Had a another reason and that was that the carbon was broken where the blinker was attached. Since it was built in blinker on the tail light it wasnt that much to do to handle it.
Probably what i dislike on the bike when i bought it was the stock blinkers. Other than that the radiator is a bit "special" and is the signature for its name, even tho it almost never runs here in Norway.
Painted the fans red to get more "out" of it.
The decals on the exhaust is wearing off. ill just pull it off, clearcoat them and attach fresh decals.
The ducati performance clutch plate is loosing its color, guess the guy that had it before used it under a closed cover and heat made the color fade. I dont know if i can just paint it somehow and make that last since its aluminium, maby powdercoating but then its better to get a new EVR one that matches the bike.
Somethings gotta happen i guess after 80,000km. People are shocked by the km it has been running, comon its a Ducati. Built with love and passion. The feeling when you ride a Ducati.
Many probably think I drive a Ducati because its a "pussymagnet", actually It gives me moments that I dont think about women or other problems at all. Thats freedom for a man! Flying in your own incredible freedom of speed, engine song, nature, roads, sun and fresh air.
I prefer to keep the seat cover on :-)
My best friend has a M900, love and passion in his heart too. His girl is jealous of a machine, how good is that?

Scooby: What rear shock have you got up under there?
Waernes: Bike already looks well sorted. I like the red fans
Aftermarket rearsets, clip-ons, new rotors, lose the side covers, FBF high comp pistons
BST's
Also what rear shock is on yours?

Ill try to see how i like it without sidecovers.
yeah the foot-rest annoys me, have to repaint them every season(needs to be powdercoated otherwise).
clipons is cool (soo many different ones, any tips?)
The rear damper is Ă–lins, used to attach a empty red bull can over the fluid tank(but i dont like to put any brands that does not have anything to in the motorcycle world, so it was recycled.
Any advice on forks?

Racetech internals on the front forks and anodize them while they are apart.
Remove the side covers and then take a heat gun and slowly remove the stickers underneath. Take the stickers and place them under the seat just in case.
Powdercoating the rearseats was cheap for me. Somewhere around $90 bucks but you can get a nice aftermarket set from Bellisimoto who is a sponsor on the left. They have many to choose from
I'm assuming the bike came with the Ohlins rear?
If not, how did it compare to the stock Sachs?

Mine is an ohlins with all the bells and whistles...
Here is the ride when I bought it 2years ago with 1100 miles on the clock -
Misc. parts off the worn out S4 (45k on the clock)
The old S4, parts bike.. :'(
The old S4, before retirement...
The old S4 "new" with 5k on the clock...
The newest S4 is a work in progress...
And the first Duc, a 02 750 with many bells and whistles which have been recycled onto their 3rd ride...

Scooby's back!
IMO it's a good start - to each their own of course - but I'd not go crazy. The tank badge is totally out of scale so it bugs me... I'd deal with that.
Some go mods would be have the forks tweaked. Possibly re-valve or look over the Tutorials for "Showa Blues" for what level of rework can be done. Springs if needed and then dial it in with the new stuff.
Radial masters - you could pick up the 749/999 or other Duc OEM style radial masters for not too punishing a price. These may well require new brake lines as well, as the fluid exit from the master may differ from what you've got.
And if you're getting new lines, there's all sorts of options there. One can get all manner of jacket colors these days - even the banjo fittings.
