So my opening throttle cable snapped on me a couple weeks back and i ordered new ones from Ducati Omaha and there on there way here...should be in next, i figured that they wouldnt be too difficult to change...but now after i took the light off and followed the cables under the bike it looks like its going to be more challenging then i had anticipated...

Has anyone changed throttle cables on a Carburated monster before? If so how difficult was it? were there any tricks that you found out...and are there alot of parts that must be removed just to get to where the cables connect to the carb?

Any input would be appreciated...

It's not that hard, just look closely at how their routed.  If you want to make it easier on yourself, remove the tank.  Just remember where each cable attaches to the carbs

I've replaced the opening cable twice, the closing cable once. They're slightly different lengths, on mine anyway, so don't mix them up. What bike is it?
