I recently bought a 2005 S4R with 11,300 miles on it. Rode it home 30 miles drove fine went out for a ride today after 20 miles it sputtered around a corner then stalled out. When I restart it it will idle fine but if you so much as touch the throttle it will stall out. I checked the battery ground and it seems fine. The bike has a full arrow exhaust and a power commander. I'm not sure if it was custom tuned or if he set the fuel map himself. I will be getting it dyno tuned shortly. The PO said that the PC might need a new 9V battery but it was my understanding that the PC runs off the bikes battery? So any guesses as to what could be causing the bike to idle but immediately die out if you give it any throttle? Even setting the choke will cause the bike to run poorly and stall out. Any help is appreciated.

check the PC leads. the 9V battery is only to load maps for non usb powered systems i believe.
