So I'm trying to get my 12,000 mile service started. It's a bit overdue at 13,000, but hey... [roll]

My problem is getting the spark plugs out. I have 5/8" plug sockets that fit into the bore, but it seems that's not the size of plug the last owner has in there. So I picked up an 18mm socket, but it won't fit into the plug bore at all.

Does anyone make an 18mm socket with a suitably slim outside diameter? Or am I just going to have to grind down the socket to fit?

(And is there any goofy-ass size the current plugs might be, that's neither 5/8" nor 18mm?)

I thought all the Testastretta's use 14mm hex spark plugs, at least that is what my 848 uses
