Damn, I just built one of these to use with my iphone (gps), i just packed the cigarette lighter adapter with dielectric grease to weatherize mine a well as the usb port. Works like a charm although it probably would have been cheaper to buy one when i think of it. Next time buy!!!

Now to just modify the usb cord so it can be plugged into my phone and be water resistant/tight with the lifeproof case.

You will enjoy the ability to charge electronics,  while on the go. I hide my cable so that it is a semi permanent install. Debating putting n inline switch so that i don't always have to unplug it from the accessory cable an draw the battery down.

I've got that.  waytogo I got the other end made with SAE connector so I could plug it into my battery tender leads. Mounted the USB port with zip ties to the frame. It works good.

Not sure what you need exactly, but there are a few different choices here.

Burnsmoto looks like a winner. ~$40 shipped with the weather connector and all. kinda pricey but looks well made.

http://www.amazon.com/Visions-Motorcycle-Hardwire-Weatherproof-Included/dp/B002Y41HAC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1336283381&sr=8-1

that was the other option i was thinking of.
