Anyone running 14/43 on an S4R ?  Stock is 15/42, I'm on 14/42 right now but thinking to go up in the back by 1 to 14/43 to get   more even running at street legal speeds (reduces top speed from 145 to 130, but who cares ?). SHould also improve chain wear according to gearcommander.

If so, what's the best source for a 525 43T sprocket. There is one in the AFAM catalog, is that the one to go for ?

One tooth up reduces revs by about 2.5 % at all times - you'll notice, but not very obvious.
(theoretical top speed reduced by ~3 mph - not 15)

Much better for the chain, yes.
