Been riding monsters for over 10 years now. Started out on a 2001 m750 then went to a 2004 S4R. Told the wife a while back it was time for a change. My God this is a change!!!  This thing is bone stock and the power is really insane.  Definitely needs some lovin from a monster owner who is not afraid of mods. Little things first. Integrated taillight, tidy-tail, remove reflectors, tank protector, NEW SEAT (only titanium on the bike is the seat I think), open clutch cover, and after the first service some new exhaust. Other than that the bike is perfect.  Ohh, and a small list of pipe dreams for down the road (slipper clutch, aluminum tank, microtec with custom mapping). Other than that perfect. Ohh, and cams, reworked heads, CF wheels........... other than that perfect.

Monster guys really shouldnt get a SBK, lol.

The bike is really fun though. Did a playful little 30 mph roll-on in 1st gear going past a church near my house today. Front wheel was more than happy to lift ohh so gracefully. Had a guy in a Ram try to race me on the 20 mile ride from the dealer yesterday. I was a bit amused that I didnt even make it home on the day of buying it without some dufus redneck thinking his hemi was enough for a motorcycle.
