Sargent seat for monster 795

Hi guys,

I want to buy a Sargent seat for my Monster 795 and I have questions for you. Which Sargent seat should I get? I read on their site that there are monster seats for 2008+ 696 and 2010+ 796 ... which one should I get, which one will fit a 2012 monster 795? I read somewhere that a 795 is a 796 engine on a 696 frame, so I lean more toward the seat for 2008+ 696, but I'm not sure.

generally speaking...the engine has no bearing on the seat...the chassis/frame would be what I would aim my basis off of for this proposition...

  I got my Sargent seat today! If I were you, I would give Sargent a call. I rang them up about my seat, and they couldn't have been more helpful (unlike Corbin ) BTW, my seat says Monster 796/1100 on a sticker on the base. It would appear that the 1100 seat fits a few bikes, my Evo included.

Mickyvee, I will call them, and I'll also call the dealership here. I asked the dealership about aftermarket seat, but I didn't ask them about which one will fit 795.

iirc the 795 is just a 696 with a 796 engine, if its got the servo motor under the seat, id get one for a 796/1100

pretty certain all the seats are interchangeable. the 696 comfort seat is the same part number for the 1100 comfort seat with the servo motor.
