Crankcase breather filter- oily

Recently installed a  K&N crankcase breather on my 620.  My bike has always been oily around this area even before i put this on, but i've noticed lately that even the filter is starting to get oily around the bottom of it.  I do ride the snot out of my bike.  Should this be of concern or is this some what norm?

 it will have some misting, but if its pooling up in the crevas by the left side case and weeping down your clutch slave then its either loose or defective.
