Hello! Just got myself a sweet 2005 m800. I am in loooove.  [Dolph]

I also am a bit concerned with how quiet she is. I realize there are no termis available for this bike anymore. But would love any suggestions on how to search for used ones, OR, if you have any ideas on termi-style exhausts that would work great for this bike. Why am I insisting on Termis? cause they sound damn good.

Any ideas/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

FWIW - you have an S2R 800. The 800 also referred to as M800 is older and has the 'classic' low mount cans

For exhaust - check with the sponsors to the left. Many of they stock exhausts for your bike of all styles, materials etc etc

For sound, there's a number of companies wears that sound similar. So you've got plenty of options.

And as a note for next time - this is an Accessories & Mods topic. I *think* you can move it... or an admin may come by and do it for you. And searching around Accessories & Mods will show you a lot of the options folks have.

No worries. Just heading off the 'what model' questions that would have followed if you hadn't posted a photo.

I forgot my used bike speech - so here goes;
Do you have the service records?
One critical item to check is the age of the cam drive belts. They are 12k mile OR 2 years from installation replacement item. With a used bike, especially a lower mile one it's quite possible that the belts are original. If so - replace them NOW. A pair of belts is under $100 and not an over difficult DIY job. There's tutorials on here, or youtube.

A broken belt will make for a lot of tears and BIG dent in your budget to deal with. A local shop has a head from a Duc that lost a belt on display. The interior looks as if someone with anger issues took a framing hammer to it. Not something you wish to deal with.
