frame interchange

My '01 M750 Dark has a damaged frame (I didn't wreck it), and I am not comfortable with a repair. I would like to know what frames- year, model, etc., would interchange directly or with minimal alteration. Thanks for any advice, so long as it's valid.

Pretty sure all '01 and earlier, except '00 and '01 M900, will get you squared away.

'00 and '01 M900 are injected, so some differences from the carbureted models.
