Hey fellas,

The clutch slave on my 2007 S4R is getting a bit loud (squeak) and feels like the pull is getting tougher.  Bled the system last night but it didn't change much.  I had the slave replaced once by the dealer when it leaked 2 years ago... this second one seems to be on the way out.

I pulled it off and put some general purpose grease in there... squeak stopped for a few pulls then came back.  Is there any easy way to clean this thing out and re-lube it?  Or am I better off scrapping it and getting an Oberon for $130?

Thanks!
Jim

I'm taking the silence as get over the squeaky stock slave and buy an Oberon?

Thanks!

I recently saw a lifetime warranty on the Yoyodyne slave. If I need to ever buy a complete slave cylinder I would by a Yoyodyne for the warranty.
There are threads on slave cylinders worth searching re different brands and rebuilding options.

+1, not just for the warranty.  Fred's service and knowledge are fantastic.
