Turn signals not working

Hi - I'm new to the forum having purchased a M800 Dark.  Hope someone can help me as my front left indicator and my rear right indicators are not working.  They were working fine until yesterday!  I've not done anything at all to the bike.  Bulbs definitely ok and fuse in the fuse box near the battery is fine.  The dashboard indicator display initially flashes normally for two 'cycles' then goes at what's probably double speed.  The remaining working indicators on each side flash at this same higher rate.  At first this was only a problem with the left turn but within 24 hours is now with both sides.  Ive opened the LH switch unit on the handelbar and cleaned/lubricated but to no avail.  Everything looks in good order and movement seems fine.  At one point one side started working again but then stopped.  I've tried pushing the finger button at slightly different 'angles' - no joy.  So I'm thinking it's likely to be the LH switch unit.  Anyone got anymore thoughts?  If it is the LH switch unit do I need to replace the whole unit or can I purchase the turn signal component separately?  Any help or advice would be greatly aqppreciated.  Thanks in advance

Howie

Either you have bad bulbs (most common) or a bad connection or wire to the bulb or a bad socket.  The switch is not the problem.  The switch completes the circuit for the whole side.  How did you check the bulbs?

Hi. Thanks for your thoughts. I checked the bulbs by swapping them around, the non working bulb worked ok when swapped.  so I'll look closer now at the sockets. Initial look suggests all ok but I'll try again.  Thanks again and any more thoughts, please say.
