G'Day All,
Spent hours chasing info on requirements for the above.
Unable to find a kit as such.
last advice today was tell them what i want and they will put the pack together..
Not certain exactly what I want so help would be appreciated.
I have a dynajet kit. FPro needle jet holders ready to go in.
I would like to order what I need before i start the rebuild
thanks

so you have: needle jets, needles, springs, and main jets?

all you need are a screwdriver, can of carb cleaner, and o-rings for the main jets. and a ruler to measure float height.

if you want/need to replace other gaskets/o-rings, call these guys: http://www.ducatiomaha.com/products.asp
you would want float bowl gaskets, and all o-rings inside the carbs

garryc

Thanks, I know I need the main jet o ring and bowl gasket
but what are all the o rings inside the carbs.
If I am going to this much trouble thought I might as well replace these at the same time.
I am in NSW Aus so I can buy from ducatiomaha although sourcing locally is probably a better option.
Called in to the local Yammy dealer today, no such thing as a kit need to order the bits and pieces individually
thanks

Go to the link I posted above, scroll all the way down and click on the 2000 monster 750. I think page 18 and 19 are the carb parts, they'll be the same as your bike. Those will be the ducati part numbers. There's a yammy that uses the same carbs, but I forget which year and model. I'll post up shortly with which model

edit:
doing a search I've found these bikes should use the same carbs/parts (posted as direct quotes from the forums they came from):
-The Yamaha 850 Tenere wasn't sold in the US, so we don't have good access to parts for our Mikuni carbs from our Yamaha dealer network.  Being in Europe you might save a lot of money ordering those parts through Yamaha

-Yamaha TDMs used the same carburetors

-FZR-1000

-Early TDM Yamaha, some FZR Yamaha models ran the same carbs as the Mikuni carbed Ducs

td hatrick in cairns have lots of mikuni parts.  they're an importer for aust i think.

That isn't bad.

I tried to ship a package to OZ...granted it was a big box but not heavy...

It was over 400 USD.

Needless to say it didn't happen.

Yes some bizarre costs.
I was given a couple of choices one was the above price the other was expidited post about $45.
Cost me about $40 to have a couple of needle jets sent over ( still cheaper than sourcing locally though)
