Hello all, I have a new to me 2005 Monster S4R, the front and rear chain guards were removed and not included with the bike.  I've purchased carbon models, they are excellent quality from Bestem, but they didn't come with mounting bolts.

The Ducati parts guide says they are M6x10, but of course don't specify pitch.  I'll be damned to pay $6 each for them from Ducati, that's a JOKE.

Can anyone help me out with what stainless size-pitch these are?

Thanks for any help!

The bolts are the standard 1.0 pitch, so M6x1.0.

However, the OEM bolts are shouldered, so they can't squash the OEM plastic guards.

Not going to find those particular bolts elsewhere.

Thanks for the tip, they are shouldered, but that would have made things worse with the aftermarket carbon.  Turns out the threads were really crud, I cleaned them up good and ran my M6 1.0 tap in, using fingers only, new stainless went in perfect!

Just wanted to make sure they didn't use some exotic pitch.

Thanks again!
