Hey all,

Does anyone out there have a complete list of checks they do on a 12,000km service on a 2010 696??

I've been an automotive mechanic for well over a decade and 25 years of experince working on bikes, so I'm pretty confident in doing the work myself (ie. valve check/adjustment etc..). The bike is off warranty, so I have no concern with pleasing the Ducati warranty gods...

I really don't want to pay someone to do things like torque checking bolts, checking brakes, lubing and checking the chain, checking lights, checking air filter etc....etc.... when I do that on a regular basis.

About the only real concern I have is that I hear that there is a special tool for checking the belts? Something with measuring the noise frequency??

Thanks for always helping out Raux [thumbsup]

Looks like most of it's basic maintainance.

Probably going to try the Iphone app to check the resonance. The valve check should be pretty straightforward using the shop manual I have.

I'll have to do some research on the throttle sync...
