Motul 300v Question

currently running motul 7100 10W40 . thinking to upgrade to motul 300v 15W50  http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/1/4/72/21087/ITEM/Motul-300V-Ester-Synthetic-Oil.aspx?WT.ac=SLIsearch . ive heard very good things abt this oil and lots of ppl told me switch . i dont ride on the winter. from mid march to october .
anyone using this oil ? are you happy with it ?

I use that  motul 15-50w in my S4 all the time its excellent but my s4 is in thailand and operating temperatures are much hotter here never gets below 80f ambient temp so every ride is a hot day .
I cooler climates 10=40 would be OK

Well, the thread above certainly covers all the angles.

But, for what it's worth, my dealer uses Motul synthetic 5100 15W50 exclusively. And he sells only Ducatis (and Vespas).

I used to worry about what kind of oil I ran but now... really it's not too big a deal as long as it's a good synthetic brand and you're changing every 3k miles.

I've got a dry clutch so I can use car oil but I've run rotella in 5w-40, mobil1 in 10w-40 and 15w-50 and it's all about the same.  If you're super worried about the oil, go for the GroupV ester ones like Motul... but unless you're tracking your bike it's really no huge issue.  Get what's locally cheap and works for your clutch and change it every 3k.
