The owner of Performance Cycles here is riding this year on a 1929 HD.  He has been blogging, they had to ride a couple hundred miles through heavy rain ?2 days ago?  The last blog I read ended with the bikes getting loaded on a ferry and taking a ride.

It was pretty cool, glad I went.  It would be a challenging trip on a modern bike, let alone one with marginal brakes, tires, suspension, etc.

One thing that was shocking was how much oil several of the bikes were leaking.  The rear wheels and tires were glistening in oil spray.  I imagine it could make for some interesting handling, especially wet roads.
