After agonizing for weeks over which tank bag to get I ended up with the Wolfman Timberwolf.  It fits absolutely perfect and the straps are perfectly placed.  It will expand for those times when you need extra room.  Wolfman has been a leader in enduro luggage for some time and just started making street accessories.  I'll get the "Peak" tail bag (fits the Monster perfectly) to complete the luggage project.

thats a badass tank bag! is that fully expanded or not?

I run this bag, it is zipped and expands about 4 inches taller. If i had it fully topped out, i woudlnt be able to see the GPS i ahve mounted. That one seems wayyyy taller!

No, it's not expanded in my picture.  I can see my instruments fine.  I'll be mounting a Garmin Zumo 660 soon and I'll have to take the bag into consideration.

He Man, it's sits a little taller than yours and expands from the front. When you unzip it, the end next to the gagues tilts up another 2.5 to 3 inches. I'm six one ish and this bag is great to lay on as long as soft stuff is in it. There are stiffners that wrap around the inside so the corners hurt my chest unless it is positioned properly.  I like your saddle bags too. Is that the bike you just stuffed the 1100 into? Sweet bike !!

Yea thats the old motor though. Im 5'6 so that tank bag looks massive to me. its not a bad price though, $129 for that much real estate!

I've also got a wolfman tail bag that has a channel for the seat. I bought it because I thought I'd do some overnighters but it is huge. Well it holds more than nesessary for an overnight. That tank bag and my Nelson Rigg tail pack would get me throught a week end if I could leave home for that long.

It has always been at the back of my mind to keep my eyes open for a good tank bag, it looks like you might have done the heavy lifting for me!

Would you be willing to take photos of how and where you attached it?

Here's the link.  I'll take some pictures this weekend as I'm not with the bike now.

I have a magnetic Givi that expands to like 4 million liters.  It's only used when touring and its so big I can lay on it.  Its never even come close to coming off.
