How much oil deep sump

Doing an oil change for the first time on my 2007 Ducati monster s4r deep oil sump how many liters does it hold  manual says 3.4 takes way more.

3.4L is the correct number and it should actually take a little less.  Is the bike vertical and level when you check?  Are you allowing some time for the oil to get to the sump?

The bike is on a front and rear stand so bike is level. The oil came in a gallon jug witch is 3.7 liters there is a little left in the jug but don't know if its  . 3 liters. I filled to the right level started the bike for 10 sec oil light went right out. Let it sit then added more to the right level. Seemed like more than 3.4 l

i put 3.5 in the normal sumps, the deep sumps usually go 3.6 - 3.7.
