Dumb question...spark plug socket size?

It def feels much better in the cool mornings rather than at mid day. I will try to find a place in Brooklyn where I can really open the throttle and do the quick kill/coast/plug check thing.

I wonder if that oil splash in the spark bore out was just some random oil blow by. I read "elsewhere" that its somewhat normal to find sometimes.
