Duc.EE and DP/Termi ECU?

I haven't been able to find an answer to this question, but I think it would work.  I currently have a Duc.EE installed and am considering getting the Termi slip-ons with intake and ECU.  Are there any issues with the Duc.EE working with the ECU that comes with the Termi slip-ons?  I assume it looks for the signal from the exhaust flapper servo the same as the stock ECU, but I figured I'd better check before making a decision.

the slipon termi ECU keeps the flapper
There is a full termi system that removes the flapper altogether.

Thanks, Raux.

So the DP ECU should be just as happy with the emulation signal being sent from the Duc.EE as the stock ECU, in theory.

Yes, that would be my assumption as well.

Yup.  I've fitted a Duc.EE, 696 midpipe to my M1100 with Termi slipons and accompanying DP ECU.  Works fine  [thumbsup].

Termi slip-ons installed, with air filter and ECU, and it's running fine with no error light, so the Duc.EE is still working.

I have to say, with the db killers removed, the exhaust is LOUD.  It's as loud as the Sport 1000 with Termis w/o db killers, which I did not expect.  I wonder if part of that is down to the flapper valve being open all the time.  The stock exhaust definitely seemed louder at idle and lower revs with the valve open, so it would make sense that the Termis would also be louder.

The flapper gate is always "open" when the bike is in gear and moving.  It was before your Duc.EE and ofcourse it is now too.  The ONLY time the flapper gate flapped pre-Duc.EE was in these following 2 states:
1) At engine start up the flapper gate flapped from open>closed>open (just to confirm that is was functional).
2) At 3000rpm in neutral (coz this apparently is the condition under which noise emission testing is performed in some (Euro) jurisdictions.

The Termis just are LOUD with the Db killers removed.  If it offends you (or others).... then use the supplied Db killers to...um... perform their roll  [thumbsup].   (I didnt like how LOUD my Termis are with Db killers out, but I also found the sound too tame with Db killers in situ, so I drilled a few more holes in 'em until I arrived at an acceptable compromise).

Interesting!  Well, it definitely seemed louder at start up in neutral after I installed the Duc.EE, but I could have sworn that it was louder when blipping the throttle at stoplights with the clutch pulled in and the bike in gear.

The Termis are crazy loud, but I don't think I want the db killers.  If it still bothers me I might have to come up with an in between solution like yours.
