Hi all, well after a sorry story of buying a van to cart my bike and myself from Sydney to Cairns, the van has blown up and I'm left to sort out the mess and scramble to find some other means of getting the bike north.

So I thought I'd put a shout out here on the off chance someone may have a contact or a useful suggestion as to what to do. Note: riding it isn't an option as I'll be sharing the driving of the second van + bike with another person, at least that's the plan thus far.

I've tried ringing all manor of bike transport providers and removalists without sucess. All the bike movers are booked or have no trucks headded off until the new year.

I could really do with some help here so if anyone can assist please let me know.

Thanks, Jo

Thanks Garry I'll send them a message shortly.

Made some progress today. I've secured a spot with All West Transport from Syd to Brisbane and Matt at Classic Rocker Motorcycles is helping out by taking delivery (among other things).

Now all that needs to be sorted is the leg from Bris to Cairns and fingers crossed the bike and I will be reunited safely there.

i dont care if you have been a mechanic for 10 years doing something for a long time does not make you good at it, take my gf for an example shes been walking for 28 years and still manages to fall over all the time.
