DING, DING, DING.  Hold your calls we have a winner.

2004 two-tone silver/gray MTS 1000 with matching hard bags, DP comfort seating and termignonis.  16k miles.  It's also the first Duc I've owned with a gas gauge... AND functional mirrors   laughingdp

Congrats!!!!   waytogo

Hello!!!

calling cher and her camera.  I need to come over and ride both multis.  I really need a more comfortable ride for everyday, and for trips.  doing more than 300 miles on the 748 is not comfortable at all. and BLQ is good for about 500, but man who wants to get back on after that.

laughingdp  Patience, people.  I've been buried in the "merriment" of the season... plus trying to put together - AGAIN - my poor ol' 999  bang head

I've only been able to ride the '04 Multi on 455 for a couple of hours then Alan and I did the Muenster Run today, so about six hours of seat time total.  All told, though, I love it.  It's like riding a big ass 1000cc dirt bike; lots of suspension travel, plenty of counter steering, and a sit straight up riding position (totally different riding style to the SBK).  Plus it's got a dry clutch, is air cooled, has plenty of torque... and the front end *can* come up when you really get on it.  And then there's the full Termi system with ECU.  Gas mileage really sucks.  Who knew?  And a DP Comfort saddle.  All just makes you want to take a long trip.  To Alaska, maybe.

So what's not to love  Evil

Oh, and it's got hard bags.  I put my helmet and back protector in one hard bag today when we stopped for lunch, and my jacket and gloves and some other stuff in the other.  Very useful.  Almost practical... I think "Multistrada" must be Italian for Jeep   Grin

It's supposed to be rainy and cold tomorrow so I'll spend some quality time in the garage cleaning up the bike and take a few pictures.

LYD, you're always welcome over here - send us a text, come on over and give the two Multis a spin.  They rock  Cheesy

thanks lisa!  you guys went on a muenster run today??   its freakin windy as hell out there and kinda cold also.  my next one WILL be a multi, just not sure which one.  the air cooled 2 valve is easier to work on, so yes I will come over one day and steel them for a ride.   Grin

The Muenster Run was on Wednesday.  Much better conditions  Dolph

None of my pix turned out - too late in the day.  Will try again in the daylight tomorrow.

Looks combat ready.  Also think it's a 620cc; double sided swing arm.

Yep.  Same exact model I sat on about 50 times at Plano before deciding to buy the Suzuki...
