Have been offered mentioned very cheap and it did cross my mind briefly.
But after reading your post no thanx! I'll just try and behave and run the gauntlet on quieter stretches of road and book in a few track days.
I haven't had a ticket in over 10 years. Fingers crossed it stays that way!

Having started this thread some time ago, my considered opinion (FWIW) is this:  
Installing a detection/jamming device isnt worth the grief it will cause you if and when you're found with it.  Having such a device will IMO be portrayed as "showing intent"... as in... only somebody who clearly intends to be speeding would go to the trouble of installing such as device.  I'd prefer to be... innocently mistaken... than guilty of premeditation  .

Same here.
I save it for the track days on a designated track bike. On track days you only piss people off by being too slow .

Just took a phone call from a mate last night, he received a letter in the mail from the Qld Gov Transport Dept in regards to an alleged infringement. He was photographed in western Brisbane from an unmarked police car traveling in the same direction behind him at an alleged 23kms over the speed limit traveling down a steep hill. He was driving his car on his way to work.

I'm guessing the police thought his actions were not dangerous enough to stop him and write out a ticket. They just let him continue on his merry way only to be penalized days after the alleged incident.

Perhaps it has something to do with answering the question "How did they manage to safely get behind a car allegedly traveling 23kms over the speed limit to  take a photo of them speeding (without lights and sirens in an unmarked car)?"

Maybe a detector would have helped my friend out in this instance.
