Agreed.

BTW...I don't think the pic of the bike hitting Checa is the crash from the race. I watched it again and the bike was no where near him.

Yeah...that pic isn't of the crash in the race. Can't find any of his practice crash specifically but that may be where it's from...

I believe it was a test crash.

Melandri started complaining until he saw Checa laying there.

seeing Checa laying there and not moving at all was 100% scary...but I knew it couldn't be that bad since there was no red flag....

Laverty's penultimate lap in race 2 was amazing though....

damnit on the wait time to Aragon...here's to hoping that BeIN's coverage of Aragon is as good as this one was!!!

No kidding!  I've been liking those Apes for a while, and it looks like this just might be another year for them.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw that—it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

I actually like all of the front runners in wsbk right now... melandri i'm a bit meh on but everyone else seems like good people.  checa, sykes, laverty, guintoli, rea, haslam... it's making it hard for me to choose a fave though I would love to see the pani shine in it's first year.

eh not so much

Same concept, but you can't question they are different bikes.  Besides, Checa took pole 1.4 seconds faster than the GP Ducati took pole from the race last year.  Different surface, but 1.4 seconds faster than the prototype series bike highlights the success of one design and failure of the other.  I wouldn't throw the street version under the bus just yet.

He threw it under the bus before the first one ever came off the assembly line. You know, because he knows how to design superbikes.
