Spring riding in PDX

Temps in the mid 60's, and clean pavement. The first chance to ride my Ducky on some nice roads.
Up the west side of Thompson Road to Skyline, then north to Old Cornelius Pass Road to the Rock Creek Tavern for lunch. Over to Germantown Road back up to Skyline, then down the east side of Thompson down to Cornell, then back through town to home. No gravel, and no traffic on the whole ride until the very end, and I am so impressed with the cornering stability of this bike. I was worried that it would be a little twitchy, especially after my R1100S BMW, but nothing disturbed this little bike, mid corner bumps were no problem, and the tires are fully scrubbed. I'm loving this bike!

Nice! I remember all those roads - from more than two decades ago!
Enjoy the glorious weather there in my old home town...

Yep; could not have asked for a better day. I got out with a buddy and explored some of the roads on the WA side of the Gorge.
Still a little chilly up in the higher elevations...

I lived around Cornell and 185th for about ten years. Around old Cornelius Pass Rd and Skyline where my favorite short rides.
