I was too broke to have the shop do a bunch of work my bike needed, so I sucked it up and installed new tires, brake pads, brake and clutch fluid, etc over the last few days.  Just took it out and nothing fell off!!!!  Valves, timing belts and carb emulsion tubes are next.  I did valves and belts in the past so I'm not too worried about that but carb work will be new.  So now I'm an expert - ask me anything!

That's good to hear.
I haven't had the monster out for over a week because of workday forecasts, but the Hondamatic hasn't been rained on yet. Go figure.
My dad stopped by last weekend and we got the front end swapped out on my Bridgestone with the Yamaha 500. That went smooth (but slow).
We're getting a soaker rain this morning, friends coming over this afternoon.
I still need to get an on-line photo account created so I can bore others with pics.
