I followed a link from someone in search of CA-Cycleworks belts. An ebay vendor is selling them (new) - fine fine.

But I notice the People who viewed this item also viewed - out of curiosity at the price listed - I click on:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ducati-Monster-S2R-1000-Timing-Belt-/140856322356?rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D163%26meid%3D6680173933272095442%26pid%3D100005%26prg%3D1088%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D181106578621%26

- And see, to my horror "Item condition:Used"

I'm all for a good deal and have no problem with appropriate use of used parts. But in case anyone ever wonders - never never buy used belts or similar items.

-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

I see those all the time, especially on the European eBay sites when they are breaking a bike.

Major facepalm.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.
