Whats up guys,
I noticed  my bike doing it a little bit at the end of last season and now taking it out 4 times so far this spring, there is something up. It's an '11 M796, and it seems i'm getting some kind of engine misfire when i go to blip my throttle. For example, if i'm scrubbing speed before a corner ill blip and when i flick the throttle quickly, the motor won't rev up but instead make like a "pop" sound. It doesn't always do it, but i'd say out of every 10 blips it would do it about twice. The next thing is that, when I'm in traffic and it's rolling so slightly, and I'm using my clutch to roll, sometimes i'll fully engage the clutch and give it a little rev just to keep everything smooth, and with the clutch FULLY engaged, it's stalled. I'm not sure what it could be. I called my dealer, i'm going in later this week, but he said on the phone that it "could be a couple of things" i was hoping maybe you guys have an idea? Thanks for reading

Thermite

Starting from the basics of air, fuel, momentum and ignition I would guess its a fuel problem.  How long since the last fuel filter change?  Also could be a TB sync issue.
'07 S4RS and '04 998 Matrix.  Because sometimes I feel like a monster, and sometimes I don't.

You r backfiring through the intake.. I know what you are talking abt 100% I have this issue on both my monsters . On the 02 m750 it was pretty bad two years ago . I played with the throttle bodies and it went away.. while adjusting the tb there was a point that it would back fire when the throttle was open at 1-3k rpms all the time . And it would stall .

I had some misfire/backfire drama on my 695. Did a valve adjustment and it goes fine now.
