Took my S4R out today, 6C or 42F was deemed sufficient. Though, with new tires, sand on the roads, and cold asphalt, my first real twist of the throttle about 100 ft down the road from my house resulted in a nice big 1.5 ft tail slide
. Took it easy after that... woops. Still great fun, bike is running great, engine loved the cool air.
They say this mass of warm air over Greenland that is forcing the jet stream southward and causing this stupid cold spring in the Eastern half of NA will break up over the next week. Expect seasonal norm temperatures around April 7, 8, 9.
